BVT-SV stop valve
The BVT-SV is an angle-body stop valve designed for the harsh environment of a modern fossil-fueled power plant. It can be used on both the water line or the steam line wherever a tight shut off is required and is typically placed upstream of a turbine bypass valve or a spray water control valve. The homogeneous wall thickness minimizes material stress, and the corrosion resistant alloy on the plug and stem are surface treated to provide sufficient hardness. Maintenance is safe and easy thanks to the pressure seal bonnet. The balanced plug design reduces the required actuating forces, allowing for smaller and pneumatic actuators, and the outlet pressure recovery cone reduces the pressure drop over the valve.
